Yes. . . I'm still around. No, I didn't fall off of the face of the earth.

Life has been a little rough lately. The economy is a wonderful thing, isn't it? So far, this year has been a royal pain in the ass. I, for one, will definitely be glad to see 2009 hit the dirt.

Besides all of the doctor visits and treatments for my vision (next one is in July), I have successfully lost my house, my credt rating, and what feels like my identity.

When the economy went to shit we didn't get our raises at work. That wasn't so bad, but when all of the other living expenses went through the roof, something had to give. I had to make one of the hardest decisions ever: I filed for Chapter 7 and gave up everything but our personal belongs and my car. I hated to give up on the fight, but after nearly three years I'm just plain tired of the struggle.

We have since combined households with my sister and are trying to pull our lives back together. Life got a little out of hand to keep struggling alone. I thank God I still have family around! It's not such a bad thing. Actually, it's helping us all out until we can get our lives back together and are able to stand on our own again.

Fari will be starting a brand new competitive season next week, so things will be picking up for the summer. I hope to be able to have a little more time to be able to get back to basics.

Oh, BTW. . . I went out a couple of weeks ago to listen to a local community concert band. I think I just might join. Perhaps it's time to blow the dust off some of those old instruments! LOL!



OOOH!!! I just HAVE to ask. . . . Does ANYONE out there know where I can find Angeal's hair for Sims 2? I've been looking everywhere for it and I can't find it! PLEASE HELP!!! LOL!
